Our bolted saddle straps are used when the strength of the mains pipe would not otherwise support a ferrule joint. A 3" boss is provided to allow the ferrule to be fitted under pressure using a tapping machine.
Alternatively, Waterfit can supply the boss already drilled to size and if necessary fit the ferrule for use on AC, Ductile Iron or PVC mains.
The gunmetal saddle straps are supplied with stainless steel nuts and bolts together with rubber and nitrile sealing washers.
